Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann will begin a rehabilitation assignment on Friday with Triple-A Gwinnett. McCann has been on the disabled list since July 27 with a strained left oblique he suffered in a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates that day.
